The project, located in Almatif, Alkhshrkhr Sharorah in Eastern Region, is situated within the coastal desert area. Commencing in 2020 and scheduled for completion in 2023, the project has been successfully finalized. It involved the excavation of 7.9 million cubic meters of cutting and the filling of 200 thousand cubic meters. Additionally, the project included the supply and application of a 15.5-kilometer fence, 7 kilometers of New Jersey barriers (NJB), and a 7-kilometer flood mitigation dike constructed with Riprap and Gabion boxes.
