The Quality Controller supervises all phases of project work to ensure compliance with approved technical standards and specifications. Their goal is to ensure the quality of materials and implementation methods in accordance with the company’s quality management policies and systems, achieving the highest levels of accuracy and safety in projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect materials and equipment used in the project before and during implementation.
Monitor field implementation work and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Prepare daily quality inspection reports and document test results.
Coordinate with project engineers and suppliers to resolve technical quality issues.
Follow up on corrective actions when any violations or defects are discovered.
Implement ISO systems and the company’s quality management policies.
Supervise field testing of concrete, soil, welding, and construction materials.
Contribute to developing a culture of quality and safety within work sites.
Requirements:
University degree or diploma in civil or mechanical engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in quality control within contracting or infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of local and international quality standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ISO).
Strong analytical and reporting skills and accurate field monitoring.
Proficient in the use of measuring tools and technical reporting software.
Ability to work in the field and work with multidisciplinary teams.
